Coverts all five PATs
McManus connected on all five of his point-after attempts and a 36-yard field goal try during Sunday's 38-24 win over Houston.
Analysis: Sunday's five point-afters were McManus' most since Week 7 of 2018, a testament to just how bad Denver's offense has been of late. The team has seemed to turn a corner with rookie Drew Lock, leading to more opportunities for McManus, but the Broncos will be tested Sunday in Kansas City. The Chiefs helped generate the only scoreless game of McManus' career in Week 7.

Nails game-winner
McManus converted both of his point-after attempts and field-goal attempts of 31, 52 and 53 yards during Sunday's 23-20 win over the Chargers.
Analysis: You'd have to go back to Week 1 of 2018 for the last time McManus converted multiple kicks beyond 50 yards. McManus had a streak of seven straight misses from that distance dating back to 2018, but he now has converted three straight. He said after the game that he felt as though he exorcized some bad feelings after missing a key kick in Week 11 against Minnesota. A more confident McManus takes on a Houston team that has surrendered 18 opponent field goals this year, 17th in the league.

Accounts for entire offense
McManus converted a 45-yard field goal during Sunday's 20-3 loss in Buffalo.
Analysis: Thanks to a miserable offensive output, McManus' only attempt of the afternoon was a 45-yard attempt into a stiff wind, which the Temple product converted. Despite attempting just one field goal in three of his last five games, McManus still ranks ninth in the league in field-goal attempts with 23 and is sixth in the league in converted field goals of 40 or more yards with nine. Next up is a matchup against the Chargers, against which he converted field goals of 46 and 40 yards in Week 5.

Misses key kick in loss
McManus converted three of four field-goal attempts and a lone extra-point try in Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: McManus connected on two kicks from beyond 40 yards and made another 29-yarder, but he pushed a 43-yard attempt wide right late in the fourth quarter. If McManus made that kick, it likely would've afforded the kicker a shot at a potential game-winning field goal on the Broncos' final drive. Instead, down four points, the offense was forced to go for the touchdown, and it was unsuccessful. McManus has nailed every kick under 40 yards this year, but he's misfired on four of 12 tries from beyond.

Flawless versus Browns
McManus converted his only field-goal attempt, from 43 yards, and all three extra-point tries during Sunday's 24-19 win over the Browns.
Analysis: McManus did all he was asked during the Week 9 victory. He's made 15 of 18 field-goal attempts and 12 of 13 extra-point tries on the year. After the Broncos' bye, McManus is slated for a tough Week 10 contest against the Vikings.

Converts chip shots
McManus converted both of his field-goal attempts, from 29 and 21 yards, and a point-after attempt during Sunday's 15-13 loss in Indianapolis.
Analysis: The Broncos probably wish they saw McManus on the field under different circumstances Sunday as both of his field goals came after promising drives died near the Colts' goal. The Broncos' offensive woes have helped McManus -- the offense's inability to get into the end zone has contributed to the Temple product ranking seventh in the league with 14 field goals on the season.

Blanked against Chiefs
McManus missed a 45-yard field goal on his only attempt in Week 7's 30-6 loss to the Chiefs.
Analysis: McManus watched the Broncos fail on their two-point conversion after they scored on their first drive, then he missed wide right once called upon in the second quarter. His goose egg brought his season average down a full point, but he'll hope this Sunday's game in Indianapolis' dome helps him finally move past 44 points.

Snaps poor luck from 50
McManus converted a point-after attempt and all three of his field-goal attempts from 53, 48, and 31 yards out during Sunday's 16-0 win over the Titans.
Analysis: McManus had previously missed seven consecutive attempts of 50 yards and longer, dating back to Week 1 of the 2018 season. He nailed his 53-yard attempt in the second quarter to put Denver up 6-0. With that monkey off his back, McManus has a fair amount of value given his consistency from inside 50 yards. The Temple product is seventh in the league with 12 field goals this season, five of them from 40 yards out or further.

Hits two field goals, two PATs
McManus converted field goals of 40 and 46 yards and two point-after attempts during Sunday's 20-13 win over the Chargers. He missed a 54-yard attempt during the contest.
Analysis: McManus has now converted 30 consecutive field-goal tries from inside 50 yards, a streak that dates back to Week 15 of the 2017 season. That sort of consistency, paired with his just recently snapped streak of 90 consecutive point-after attempts, provides the kind of reliability kickers seldom offer. McManus is not, however, your guy for the big-point kicks. Despite a powerful leg, he has now missed seven consecutive tries from 50 yards and out, last converting such a kick in Week 1 of last…read more

Picks up six points
McManus converted all three of his point-after attempts and a 33-yard field goal during Sunday's 26-24 loss to Jacksonville.
Analysis: McManus put aside some concern that he had a case of the yips after back-to-back weeks with shanked PAT attempts (though one was erased by a defensive offsides call). If all checks out, McManus is pretty darn reliable from inside 50 yards, but fans would be justified in their concern, given McManus' place on a team that just scored over 20 points for the first time since early December 2018. Additionally, Denver draws a matchup against a tough Chargers team in Week 5.

Shanks PAT
McManus hit a 30-yard field goal and converted just one of two point-after attempts during Sunday's 27-16 loss in Green Bay.
Analysis: The missed PAT broke a league-best streak of 90 conversions for the veteran kicker. Typically automatic inside 50 yards, some concern that the Temple product has a small case of the yips might be warranted after he missed a PAT last week against Chicago but was rescued by a penalty. He returns to the friendly confines of Mile High in Week 4 against the Jaguars.

Connects on two attempts
McManus hit field goals of 43 and 32 yards during Sunday's 16-14 loss to Chicago.
Analysis: McManus almost nixed Denver's comeback attempt with a missed PAT that was called back for offsides. McManus remains fairly automatic inside 50 yards, and -- though probably not ideal for Broncos fans -- continues to benefit from being on a team that consistently puts together drives, yet struggles once entering opponent territory.

Solid in opener
McManus converted his lone extra-point try and three of his four field-goal attempts in Monday's 24-16 loss to the Raiders.
Analysis: The only miss for McManus happened when he tried to make a 64-yarder in the waning seconds of the first half. All three of the six-year-pro's successful field goals came from under 40 yards out, including two from under 30 yards away.

Lone kicker on roster
Following the release of Taylor Bertolet, McManus is now the only placekicker on the Broncos' roster.
Analysis: McManus has held Denver's kicking job since the 2014 season, so it's not especially surprising to see the team part ways with Bertolet. McManus has a strong leg that theoretically gets a boost from altitude at home, but his 2019 fantasy prospects are largely tied to how well the team's offense clicks with Joe Flacco now at quarterback. McManus made 20 of 25 field-goal attempts last season, while converting all 35 of his extra point tries, en route to recording 95 points, which ranked him 20th…read more

Facing competition
McManus is facing competition from fellow placekicker Taylor Bertolet during minicamp, FoxSports.com reports.
Analysis: McManus was drafted by the Broncos in 2014 and is entering his sixth year with the team. He made just 20 of 25 field-goal attempts last season but converted all 35 of his extra-points. This is likely a case of Denver looking to make sure the 27-year-old does not get complacent, as head coach Vic Fangio stated Bertolet "would have to knock him out like in a heavyweight battle" in order to win the job.

Improves in 2018
McManus ended 2018 having connected on 20 of 25 field goals, with a long of 53, and converting all 35 of his point-after attempts.
Analysis: McManus struggled mightily in 2017, missing from all over the field. His conversion percentage improved only slightly in 2018 -- ranking 26th in the league at 80 percent -- but he was a perfect 18 for 18 inside 50 yards. It was from the outer limits where he struggled, connecting on just two of seven field goals of 50 yards or longer. Most notably, he missed field goals of 62 yards and 51 yards at the end of both halves against Houston. The Temple product still managed to nail game-winners…read more

Meager output in Week 16 loss
McManus missed a 58-yard field goal attempt as time expired in the first half and drilled two extra-point tries in the Broncos' 27-14 loss to the Raiders on Monday.
Analysis: McManus was brought on for the Hail Mary field-goal attempt after Case Keenum connected with Courtland Sutton for 20 yards down to the Raiders 40-yard line with four seconds remaining in the first half. However, the kick came up short, and McManus wouldn't get another field-goal opportunity the rest of the night. Despite the miss, McManus' 82.6 percent success rate this season (19-for-23) on field goals represents a nice improvement from the 75.0 percent figure he generated in 2017, and his…read more

Notches 10 points
McManus made all three of his field-goal attempts as well as his lone extra-point try in Saturday night's 17-16 loss to the Browns.

Opportunities limited
McManus did not attempt a field goal but made both his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-14 loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: McManus' mere two points tied his season low. Considering he only boasts 80 points through 13 games, however, fantasy owners should've recalibrated their expectations of McManus -- who averaged about 114 points over the previous three seasons -- by now.

Notches six points
McManus made one of his two field-goal attempts and hit all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Bengals.
Analysis: McManus converted from 29 yards but missed wide left on a 50-yard attempt to begin the game. Through 12 appearances, he's totaled 78 points but hasn't topped six points since Week 7.

Perfect against Steelers
McManus made his only field-goal attempt and all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Steelers.

Delivers game-winner
McManus hit both of his extra-point attempts and a 34-yard field goal during Sunday's 23-22 win over the Chargers.
Analysis: After missing attempts of more than 50 yards right before halftime and to end the game against Houston in Week 9, McManus buried a 34-yarder to give the Broncos the last-second win. The Temple product is a perfect 24-for-24 on extra-point attempts, and 12-for-12 on field goals of less than 50 yards this season.

Misses game-winning attempt
McManus missed two of his three field-goal attempts, including a potential game-winning 51-yarder as time expired, but made both his extra-point tries in Week 9's loss to the Texans.
Analysis: McManus missed wide right twice, but in his defense, his first misfire came from a whopping 62 yards out. While he was able to convert from 44 yards in the first quarter, McManus will still be disappointed by failing an opportunity to give his team a victory later on.
