Another solid late-season effort
Anderson secured four of six targets for 66 yards and caught a two-point conversion pass in the Jets' 42-21 loss to the Ravens on Thursday.
Analysis: Anderson was second only to Jamison Crowder in receptions and receiving yardage for the Jets on the night. Even though he failed to notch a touchdown grab for only the second time in the last five games, Anderson did find the end zone on a two-point conversion catch following a fourth-quarter Crowder scoring reception. Anderson will look to boost his numbers back up across the board in a Week 16 battle against the Steelers a week from Sunday.

Building momentum
Anderson caught seven of 11 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 22-21 win over the Dolphins.
Analysis: Anderson's 26-yard touchdown in the first quarter was his third in the past four games, and he's now topped 100 yards in consecutive games after doing so only once in the first 11. Just as he did last year, Anderson appears to be closing out the season on a high note. He'll face stiffer competition Week 15, with the Jets visiting Baltimore on Thursday.

Leading receiver in loss
Anderson caught seven of 10 targets for 101 yards in Sunday's 22-6 loss to the Bengals.
Analysis: Anderson led the team in targets, catches and yards, but he could have had an even better performance if he hadn't dropped a ball in the end zone. The speedster has put together his best two-game stretch of the season with 197 receiving yards over the past two weeks. He'll look to stay productive against the Dolphins in Week 14.

Big-play ability returns
Anderson caught four of five targets for 86 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-3 win over the Raiders.
Analysis: Anderson got his mojo back, recording two catches of 30-plus yards and following up the second one with a one-yard touchdown to make it 27-3 in the third quarter. He has a two-game touchdown streak going after finding the end zone only once through the season's first nine games, and Anderson was able to top 80 yards for the third time in this one. Blanked outside short TD
Anderson caught one of three targets for a six-yard touchdown in Sunday's 34-17 win over the Redskins.
Analysis: Those who went with Anderson in this favorable matchup were bailed out by his second touchdown of the season, but his lack of involvement remains concerning. Anderson has eclipsed 50 receiving yards only twice this season, and this was the fourth time in 10 games that he's managed to secure only one catch.

Cleared to play Sunday
Anderson (shoulder/back) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against Washington after practicing fully Friday, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.
Analysis: While Anderson's playing status is no longer in doubt, his Week 11 fantasy utility is debatable. The speedy wideout maintains a degree of big-play upside, but he's been a hit-or-miss option of late and is coming off a quiet effort in the Week 10 win over the Giants. In that contest, he caught just one of his three targets for 11 yards, despite playing 54 of the Jets' 65 offensive snaps.

Anderson (shoulder/back) remained limited at Thursday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Logs limited practice
Anderson was limited at practice Wednesday due to back and shoulder injuries, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Anderson's status will be revisited Thursday to see whether he's able to graduate to full practice participation. The speedy wideout has been a hit-or-miss fantasy option of late and is coming off a dud in the Week 10 win over the Giants, during which he caught just one of his three targets for 11 yards, while logging 54 of a possible 65 offensive snaps.

Remains non-factor
Anderson caught one of three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 34-27 win over the Giants.
Analysis: Anderson continues to falter, as the big plays that kept his bread buttered in past seasons just haven't come this year, excluding a 92-yard touchdown against Dallas back in Week 6. Despite his struggles, there's still some upside to be found with Anderson against Washington's vulnerable secondary in Week 11. The problem is, his floor remains extremely low, as evidenced by Sunday's performance.

Limited involvement in Miami
Anderson caught two of four targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 26-18 loss to the Dolphins.
Analysis: Quarterback Sam Darnold just missed connecting with Anderson on a pair of potential chunk plays, but the bottom line is that Anderson delivered a dud despite facing a putrid Dolphins team. New York now sports an identical 1-7 record to the Dolphins and has actually been worse offensively, so it's tough to trust anybody on that side of the ball for the Jets. Four catches in Week 8
Anderson caught four of six targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 29-15 loss to Jacksonville.
Analysis: With trade rumors swirling around him, Anderson delivered a mediocre performance in what could end up being his final game as a Jet. With New York now 1-6, don't be surprised to see the speedy wide receiver dealt to a more fantasy-friendly situation before Tuesday's trade deadline, as New York would rather get something for the pending free agent rather than let him walk for free at season's end. If Anderson remains with the Jets, he'd get a juicy Week 9 matchup against Miami.

On trade block
The Jets are listening to trade offers on Anderson as the Oct. 29 deadline approaches and have made it clear to teams that the receiver can be had for the right price, sources tell Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Analysis: Mehta notes that Anderson drew interest from the Eagles at the trade deadline last year, but the Jets rebuffed all offers and Philadelphia ultimately turned its focus to acquiring Golden Tate. This time around, the Jets are likely more inclined to move Anderson, given the 1-5 club's place in the AFC standings in addition to the 26-year-old's status as a pending unrestricted free agent. Held to one catch
Anderson caught one of eight targets for 10 yards in Monday night's 33-0 loss to the Patriots.
Analysis: Anderson saw coverage from Stephon Gilmore, arguably the league's best cornerback, and was unsurprisingly held to next to nothing as a consequence. Admittedly, with Sam Darnold managing a putrid 86 passing yards and four interceptions on 32 throws, there was hardly any production to go around for New York's pass-catchers, so Anderson wasn't alone. Erupts in reunion with Darnold
Anderson caught five of eight targets for 125 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-22 win over the Cowboys.
Analysis: Most of the damage came on a 92-yard TD strike in the second quarter -- the second-longest play from scrimmage in Jets franchise history. Anderson managed only eight catches for 108 yards in three games while Sam Darnold was sidelined with mononucleosis, but the QB's return to the lineup paid immediate dividends for the team's top downfield threat. Anderson will have difficulty making the same kind of impact Week 7 against the Patriots' extremely stingy defense, however.

Practices in full
Anderson (back) was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Analysis: The back injury Anderson's dealing with is clearly minor given his full participation. Furthermore, quarterback Sam Darnold has been fully cleared for Sunday's game against Dallas after battling mononucleosis since Week 1. With his starting quarterback returning, Anderson should be worth scooping up off the waiver wire, though Darnold might need a week to shake off the cobwebs before he starts connecting with his top deep threat at the frequency for which fantasy owners have yearned.

One catch in Week 5 loss
Anderson was held to a 16-yard catch on three targets in Sunday's 31-6 loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: The entire Jets offense struggled once again with third-string quarterback Luke Falk under center, and Anderson has been perhaps most adversely affected by Falk's poor play due to the speedy receiver's reliance on downfield plays. Luckily for Anderson, starting quarterback Sam Darnold could be ready to return from mononucleosis Week 6 against Dallas. Hopefully, Anderson won't be hampered by an injury of his own at that point. Struggles along with whole offense
Anderson caught three of five targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 30-14 loss to the Patriots.
Analysis: Anderson does most of his damage deep down the field, and third-string quarterback Luke Falk didn't seem capable of throwing the ball more than five yards from the line of scrimmage, so it's no surprise that the speedy wide receiver posted a dud here. While it's tempting to cut bait with Anderson after a slow start, things should start to look up for him once starting quarterback Sam Darnold returns from mononucleosis. Anderson caught four of six targets for 81 yards during Monday's 23-3 loss to the Browns.
Analysis: There are few fantasy commodities with a wider range of outcomes than Anderson, who had 90-plus receiving yards or a touchdown in five games last season, but only averaged 30.7 yards in his other nine outings. Anderson was among the lone bright spots for a sluggish Jets offense on Monday night, logging gains of 36, 20, 15 and 10 yards after the team was forced to turn to its third-string quarterback with the injury to Trevor Siemian (ankle). Facing short-term QB downgrade
Anderson will be catching passes from Trevor Siemian in Week 2 and likely for at least another game after that, as ESPN's Rich Cimini reports that starting quarterback Sam Darnold will be sidelined by mononucleosis.
Analysis: In addition to the downgrade in quarterback, Anderson will have to deal with elite cornerback Denzel Ward, who held Tennessee's Corey Davis without a catch in Week 1. While Anderson's stock is undoubtedly sinking in the short term, savvy owners could potentially capitalize on a potential Week 2 dud and acquire the speedster for pennies on the dollar in hopes of better days ahead.

Blanketed in Week 1 loss
Anderson (calf) caught three of seven targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Bills.
Analysis: Whether he was limited by a lingering calf injury or simply ineffective, Anderson failed to make much of an impact. The speedy wide receiver relies on chunk gains downfield, making him a volatile fantasy entity prone to massive highs and unimpressive lows. This was certainly a valley, but Anderson will hope to rebound with a peak in Week 2 against the Browns.

Still on track for Week 1
Anderson (calf), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, intends to play in the contest, a source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Analysis: Schefter's report aligns with the prevailing sentiment regarding Anderson's status coming out of the Jets' final practice of the week Friday, when the wideout turned in a limited workout. While the calf issue doesn't look to be much of a concern for Anderson heading into the season opener, the speedy 26-year-old's fantasy outlook might not be as robust as normal, considering he'll likely be facing plenty of coverage from standout cornerback Tre'Davious White.

Anderson (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills.
Analysis: Anderson practiced in a limited fashion all week, which bodes well for his chances of suiting up, especially since Rich Cimini of ESPN.com relayed Thursday that coach Adam Gase expects the wideout to play Week 1. Coach Adam Gase relayed Thursday that Anderson's (calf) limitations at practice Wednesday were precautionary, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports. "He's good," Gase said of Anderson. I think it's just more us being cautious."
Analysis: When asked whether Anderson would be able to play Sunday against the Bills, Gase replied, "it looks like it." Coach Adam Gase said Thursday that Anderson (calf) is on track to play in Sunday's game against the Bills, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Analysis: Anderson has been nursing a calf injury and was limited in practice this week. However, that has been deemed precautionary, as the Jets say their top wideout is thought to be good to go for the 2019 opener. Hauls in 41-yard deep ball
Anderson caught both of his targets for 60 yards in Saturday's 28-13 preseason loss to the Saints.
Analysis: New York's starting offense was out there for most of the first half, but the Jets couldn't get much going until Anderson got free for a 41-yard catch to help set up Ty Montgomery's two-yard touchdown reception. Anderson should pick up plenty of chunk gains this season, but the fast and lanky wideout will leave most of the underneath work to the likes of Jamison Crowder and Quincy Enunwa, which could lead to some up-and-down results for Anderson.

Analysis: The highlight of Anderson's night was a 21-yard catch on the opening drive, and he came one yard shy of scoring later on that possession. Anderson's locked into a starting role on the outside, and the speedster's hoping to prove that he's more than just a one-dimensional deep threat as he enters his fourth NFL season. Withdraws from 40-yard competition
Anderson (undisclosed) withdrew from Saturday's "40 Yards of Gold" competition after winning his first race, NJ.com's Matt Stypulkoski reports.

The 26-year-old wideout then pulled out of the event, which led to speculation about a possible injury. Likely No. 1 wideout in Week 15
Anderson is expected to serve as the Jets' top receiver Sunday against the Texans with fellow starter Quincy Enunwa (ankle) ruled out for the contest, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: With Sam Darnold (foot) returning from a three-game absence to start in the Week 14 win over the Bills, Anderson (four receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown on seven targets) actually outproduced Enunwa (three catches for 22 yards on four targets), who had been the rookie signal-caller's go-to option in the passing game for much of the first half of the season. Analysis: Anderson still hasn't made a full recovery from the ankle sprain he suffered in late October, but he seems to be on track to play for a third straight week, likely catching passes from rookie signal-caller Sam Darnold. Analysis: Anderson was limited at Thursday's practice after getting in a full session Wednesday, and it's still not clear why he did less than the day before. Regardless, he has still taken part in practice all three days this week, which bodes well in regards to his availability for Sunday's game in Buffalo.

Logs limited practice Thursday
After practicing fully Wednesday, Anderson (ankle) was limited at practice Thursday, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
Analysis: We'll have to see if the downgrade in participation is maintenance-related or indicative of a setback with the ankle issue Anderson has been dealing with of late, but Friday's practice and subsequent official injury report figure to lend clarity on that front. While Anderson's practice level dipped Thursday, fellow wideout Quincy Enunwa (ankle) practiced fully after being limited Wednesday.

Paces team in receiving in loss
Anderson caught four of seven targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 26-22 loss to Tennessee.
Analysis: Although his final line looked like nothing special, Anderson tied his season high in catches and saw his second-best receiving output on the year. The 25-year-old has been limited by injuries and an ineffective offense this season after coming just 59 yards shy of the 1,000-yard mark in 2017. Things don't get any easier with Buffalo's top-rated defense against receivers on tap in Week 14.

Set to play Week 13
Anderson (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Analysis: Anderson has been slowed by a mid-ankle sprain since late October, which has sidelined him for two of the Jets' last four games. The Jets' Week 11 bye seems to have proven beneficial for the wideout, who played 48 offensive snaps last weekend in New England and will be good to go again Sunday despite not advancing beyond limited participation in practice beforehand. There haven't been any reports suggesting Anderson's reps will be capped, so expect him to handle a regular role in three-receiver…read more

Questionable for Week 13
Anderson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans, Darryl Slater of NJ.com reports.
Analysis: After missing practice Wednesday, Anderson was able to work in a limited fashion the subsequent two days, so he seemingly has a good shot at suiting up Sunday. If he does, it remains to be seen if Sam Darnold (foot) or Josh McCown (thumb/back) would be throwing Anderson passes. In any case, Anderson -- when healthy -- has the speed to be a dangerous deep threat, but his only big game this season was back in Week 5, when he logged three receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

Set to practice again
Anderson (ankle) was spotted on the field with a helmet at Friday's practice, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.
Analysis: Anderson was held out of practice Wednesday but was able to get some limited work in the following day. He appears set to at least replicate that activity level Friday, if not step things up a notch. That bodes well for his chances of playing in Week 13 against the Titans, but his official status won't be revealed until after practice concludes.

Logs limited session
Anderson (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.
Analysis: Anderson's ankle issue has already caused two absences this season, but his involvement in Thursday's session offers hope that he'll be able to avoid the inactive list for Sunday's game in Tennessee. Even if Anderson suits up this weekend, it's hard to bank on him delivering much fantasy value, as he's topped 45 receiving yards only once this season (Week 5 against the Broncos), with two of his three touchdowns coming in that contest. Anderson's outlook is further muddled by the team's…read more

Spotted at practice
Anderson (ankle) was present for practice Thursday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Analysis: Anderson didn't practice Wednesday, but his return to the field -- in any capacity -- would appear to have him trending toward active status in Week 13, assuming he ends up being officially listed as either a limited or full participant Thursday.

Sidelined Wednesday
Anderson (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Anderson played 48 of of the Jets' 64 offensive snaps in the Jets' Week 12 loss to the Patriots, so there's a decent chance that Wednesday's absence was maintenance-related. The wideout first appeared on the Jets' injury reports with the ankle issue back in late October and sat out Week 10 against the Bills, though he didn't appear to suffer an aggravation in his return to action coming off a Week 11 bye.

Quiet while battling injury
Anderson (ankle) caught two of five targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to New England.
Analysis: Anderson still isn't 100 percent healthy, and his ankle injury has been particularly burdensome since Anderson's game revolves around speed. Until he gets closer to full health, look elsewhere. Anderson and the Jets will travel to Tennessee in Week 13.

Listed as active
Anderson (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Analysis: Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Anderson is a candidate to handle a limited role in his return to action Sunday, so there are safer Week 12 fantasy options out there. Once fully healthy, Anderson will compete for targets in the Jets' passing attack with the likes of Quincy Enunwa and Jermaine Kearse, a context that figures to make him a hit-or-miss fantasy option.

Likely to be limited Sunday
Anderson (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, is expected to play but will likely handle a limited role, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Assuming Anderson completes pregame warmups without major incident, he should avoid his third absence in four games, but the Jets apparently are inclined to act conservatively with his snap count. It makes sense for New York to take a cautious approach with easing the wideout back into the fold, given that he managed only one limited practice coming out of the team's Week 11 bye. With restrictions likely on tap for Anderson on Sunday, fellow receivers Quincy Enunwa and Rishard Matthews could…read more

Questionable for Week 12
Anderson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Anderson missed two of the Jets' three games before a Week 11 bye due to an injury that was between a high-ankle and low-ankle sprain. After sitting out the first two post-bye practices this week, he was spotted with a helmet at Friday's session, according to Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site. The appearance eventually translated to a limited showing, with Anderson's availability Sunday potentially coming down to the 1:00 PM ET kickoff.

Spotted with helmet
Anderson (ankle) was spotted with a helmet at Friday's practice, according to Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site.
Analysis: Anderson did not practice the last two days, but it looks like he will have a chance to get some work in at Friday's session. While this bodes well for Anderson's chances of playing in Week 12, it should be noted he was spotted with a helmet at Friday's session two weeks ago and was ultimately listed as doubtful, so his status will remain uncertain until the Jets release their final injury report of the week.

Missing from practice
Anderson (ankle) wasn't spotted on the field during the open portion of Thursday's practice, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Analysis: The wideout wasn't involved in pre-practice stretching and wasn't seen taking part in individual work, suggesting he'll go down a non-participant on the Jets' practice report for the second straight day. The lack of activity coming out of the Week 11 bye seemingly doesn't bode well for Anderson's chances of avoiding a second straight absence Sunday against the Patriots.

Remains sidelined
Anderson (ankle) wasn't present for Wednesday's practice, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Analysis: Anderson still has time to return to practice as the week rolls along, but the fact that he's still unable to work coming out of the Jets' bye week isn't a great sign for his availability for Sunday's game against the Patriots.

Still recovering from injury
Anderson (ankle) isn't practicing Monday, Connor Hughes of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The Jets are still banged up after a Week 11 bye, with both Anderson and Sam Darnold (foot) held out of Monday's practice. The team won't release an official injury report until Wednesday, so there's still plenty of time for Anderson to get in some work before Sunday's game against the Patriots.

Anderson (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Anderson (ankle) was spotted at Friday's practice with a helmet, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.

Not present for practice
Anderson (ankle) wasn't spotted at Thursday's practice, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Analysis: The receiver thus looks on track for a non-participation listing for both of the Jets' first two practices of the week. The Jets will see what Anderson is able to do at practice Friday before ruling on his status for Sunday's game against the Bills, but there's a real possibility he'll carry an injury designation into the weekend. Misses practice Wednesday
Anderson (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Darryl Slater of NJ.com reports.
Analysis: The same applies to fellow wideout Quincy Enunwa (ankle), though both players were able to return to action in Week 9 against the Dolphins after missing game action prior to that with their respective injuries. In the 13-6 loss, Anderson started and logged 47 of 66 offensive snaps. With no reported setbacks coming out of that contest, Anderson's absence from the first practice of Week 10 may have just been for maintenance purposes. Makes four catches in loss to Dolphins
Anderson (ankle) caught four of six targets for 32 yards during Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Dolphins. He also gained one yard on one carry.
Analysis: Anderson returned to the lineup after sitting out last week against the Bears, finishing second on the team in targets. Unfortunately, he managed little outside of a 17-yard gain and finished with rather pedestrian numbers. Anderson has become known as a deep threat during his time in the NFL, so his production is often lacking if he's unable to break off a long play or two. He'll look to do just that next Sunday against the Bills.

Suits up Sunday
Anderson (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Analysis: With Quincy Enunwa (ankle) also active and Jermaine Kearse (who led the team with 10 targets in Week 8) still in the mix, QB Sam Darnold will have his top three passing targets available Sunday. Anderson is an option for those in need of Week 9 wideout help, but coming off their respective injuries, both Anderson and Enunwa look like hit-or-miss fantasy options in their return to game action. On the plus side, concerns that sloppy field conditions could be on tap Sunday, appear to have been…read more

Team optimistic he'll play Week 9
The Jets are optimistic Anderson (ankle) will be able to play Sunday at Miami, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Anderson is listed as questionable and is considered a game-time decision.
Analysis: Anderson was able to practice Friday in a limited fashion after missing practices Wednesday and Thursday. He'll test his ankle injury out in pregame warmups before the Jets make a ruling on his status, which will be confirmed when the team releases its inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. EST kickoff.

Game-time decision for Week 9's game
Anderson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Analysis: The same designation applies to Quincy Enunwa (ankle), with Eric Allen of the Jets' official site relaying via coach Todd Bowles that both wideouts are considered game-time decision ahead of the 1 p.m. EST kickoff. Per Rich Cimi of ESPN.com, both wideouts were limited participants at Friday's practice after failing to take part in sessions Wednesday and Thursday. Works on side Friday
Anderson (ankle) suited up for Friday's practice but was working on the side during the media-viewing portion of the session, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.
Analysis: A total absence from Friday's practice likely would have ended Anderson's chances of playing Sunday against the Dolphins, so his presence for the final session of the week keeps that possibility open. However, unless Anderson is able to get some work in after the media departs, he will be listed as a non-participant for the third straight day. That would still make it unlikely Anderson plays Sunday, especially after he failed to practice last Wednesday through Friday before sitting out the…read more

Doesn't take part in practice
The Jets listed Anderson (ankle) as a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Darryl Slater of NJ.com reports.
Analysis: Though he officially failed to practice in any capacity for the second straight day, Anderson seemingly took a step forward Thursday, as he was spotted in a helmet and pads prior to the session, per Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site. Any activity Anderson was able to complete was likely done on a side field, so he'll probably need to participate with the main group Friday in a limited or full capacity to have a realistic chance at suiting up Sunday against the Dolphins.
