Perfect in Week 14 loss
Hauschka made all three of his field-goal attempts -- from 36 yards, 47 and 48 -- in Sunday's loss to the Ravens. He did not have an extra-point try.
Analysis: The Bills needed to go for two on their only touchdown, but Hauschka was the beneficiary of his team having trouble finishing off drives against a tough opponent, nailing all three of his tries. Hauschka took the blame for a close loss to Cleveland in Week 10, but he's made 10 of 11 since then, including two longer attempts Sunday. The veteran may have figured things out after a prolonged rough stretch this season, but we'll note the Bills finish at Pittsburgh and at New England before…read more

Perfect during loss
Hauschka connected on all three field goals in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Ravens.
Analysis: Hauschka has drilled his last nine kicks under 50 yards by converting tries from 36, 47 and 48 yards. The 34-year-old is having a tough year overall, however, as he's made 18 of 24 tries (75 percent). He'll look to keep up his recent success against the Steelers in Week 15.

Misses two kicks
Hauschka made two of three field goals and two of three extra points in Thursday's 26-15 win over the Cowboys.
Analysis: Hauschka was good from 26 and 41 yards, but he failed to make a 50-yarder. The veteran kicker has struggled from 50 and beyond this year with just one conversion on five attempts, but he's been superb from within, drilling 14 of 16. Hauschka will look to get back on track against the Ravens, who haven't allowed more than 20 points since Week 5.

Nails all four kicks
Hauschka connected on two field goals and two extra points in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Broncos.
Analysis: Hauschka disappointed by missing two field goals in a 19-16 loss to the Browns in Week 10, only to bounce back over the last two games by drilling all five field goals and six extra points. The veteran kicker still rings up at a career worst 13-for-18 (72 percent), and he's made just one kick over 50 yards on four tries. The Bills travel to Dallas on Thursday, so Hauschka should benefit from the dome environment for the first time this year.

Bounces back in win
Hauschka made all seven of his kicks in Sunday's win over Miami -- four extra points and field goals from 51, 34 and 21 yards.
Analysis: This was quite the bounce back after Hausch Money wasn't so money in the previous tight loss to the Browns, missing two key field goals in a tight loss. Hauschka also broke a string of five straight missed kicks from 50-plus yards. The veteran appears to have figured some things out, though we'll see if he gets another game free of weather issues when the Bills host the Broncos in Week 12.

Misfires prove costly
Hauschka missed both of his field-goal tries during Sunday's loss to the Browns, a short one from 34 yards and a game-tying attempt from 53 yards out on the Bills' last-minute drive.
Analysis: Hauschka did make both of his extra-points tries, but this was not one of his better days as a pro and the misses cost his team the game. While his 62 percent rate on field goals isn't getting the job done, Hauschka -- who's in his third season with the team -- has built up quite a bit of cred with coach Sean McDermott, who gave his veteran kicker a vote of confidence following the game. Next week's game in Miami looks like one of the last weather-friendly games left on the Bills' schedule.

Perfect in expected win
Hauschka made his only field-goal attempt -- a 42-yarder -- and all three extra-point attempts during Sunday's win over Washington.
Analysis: Volume has been an issue for Hauschka as the Bills continue to look for more offensive pop under second-year quarterback Josh Allen, with Hausch Money having zero or one attempts in three of the last four games. And while the Bills have had trouble scoring, making matters worse is that they've been incredibly effective when they have reached the red zone, converting an eye-popping 15 out of 21 red-zone trips into touchdowns. Hauschka's 39 points on the season currently puts him 26th among all…read more

Costly misses in loss
Hauschka missed his lone field-goal attempt and made one of two extra-point tries during Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: Hauschka's ugly Week 8 performance came during extremely windy conditions, so there's little reason he can't be counted on for his usual superior accuracy going forward, barring more bad-weather games like this one. Still, a lack of consistent opportunities makes it difficult to trust Hauschka each week, though the Bills do get a juicy matchup heading into a Week 9 matchup against Washington.

Flawless in win
Hauschka made all three field-goal tries and both extra-point attempts during Sunday's win over Miami.
Analysis: Hauschka had his best game of the year in Week 7. The veteran kicker hasn't been a reliable fantasy option for much of the season -- before Week 7, he had converted just four of six field-goal attempts across five contests -- so he'll be somewhat difficult to trust against the Eagles in Week 8.

Converts both attempts
Hauschka connected on both extra-point attempts in Sunday's 14-7 win over the Titans.
Analysis: Hauschka wasn't called upon much in this contest, as the Bills converted on both of their red-zone trips and failed a fourth-down attempt on the Titans' 31-yard line. Nevertheless, Hauschka was perfect in limited action, and he should have plenty of work on tap when the lowly Dolphins travel to town after Buffalo's upcoming bye week.

Misses another field goal
Hauschka missed one of his two field-goal attempts but made his only extra-point try in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Patriots.
Analysis: Hauschka converted from 46 yards on his first kick, but went wide left on a 49-yarder as the first-half clock expired. The veteran has now missed a field goal in back-to-back games, restricting him to 20 points on the season.

Misses kick in win
Hauschka made two of three field-goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try during Sunday's 21-17 win over the Bengals.
Analysis: Hauschka's first miss of the season came on a 62-yard field-goal try at the end of the second quarter. The veteran kicker boasts reliable accuracy, but Buffalo's offense doesn't always provide him with enough opportunities to be a top fantasy option.

Drills every extra point
Hauschka made all four extra points in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Giants.
Analysis: The veteran kicker remains perfect this season, converting all six extra-point attempts and his only field-goal attempt -- a 43-yard try in Week 1.

Makes lone field goal
Hauschka made his lone field-goal attempt and both extra-point attempts in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Hauschka made only three of five field goals in the preseason but nonetheless received a two-year extension in late August, and he looked just fine in Sunday's season opener. The 34-year-old's only field goal Sunday came from 43 yards. The Giants await the Bills in Week 2 after surrendering 35 points to the Cowboys.

Lands extension
Hauschka inked a two-year contract extension with the Bills on Wednesday, James Palmer of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Hauschka is coming off an inconsistent 2018 season, in which he made only 22 of 28 field goals and 25 of 26 extra points, but coach Sean McDermott still appears confident in the veteran's starting capabilities and has locked him up for the foreseeable future. The 10-year veteran notched only 91 points last season, the lowest full-season total of his career, but his arrow seems to be pointing up with an improved Bills displaying new weapons.

Rough preseason outing
Hauschka missed his only field-goal attempt Thursday against the Colts, a 34-yard attempt.
Analysis: Hauschka also barely snuck in an extra-point try while going 2-for-2 on PATs for the night. He's been a staple for the Bills the last two seasons, but after struggling badly down the stretch in 2018 -- he missed at least one field-goal try in the last four games he had an attempt -- he should probably start showing more consistency if he wants to remain a no-brainer decision for coach Sean McDermott again. Chase McLaughlin is in camp, and while the rookie doesn't pose much of a threat, you…read more

Injury not serious
Hauschka appears to be at 100 percent despite report of an ankle injury Wednesday, Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Hauschka was spotted Wednesday with a wrap on his left ankle, but apparently this is a practice the kicker employs regularly and isn't a cause for concern. While reports surfaced that he missed practice due to injury, it turns out he was merely just working with his private kicking coach. Multiple members of the Bills coaching staff have relayed that there are no longer issues related to the injury he battled near the end of last season.

Absent from practice
Hauschka did not practice Wednesday due to an apparent left ankle injury, Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The severity of Hauschka's injury remains uncertain. As long as the veteran remains sidelined, Chase McLaughlin stands to handle reps with the first team. Assuming Hauschka is able to resume practicing without missing much time, it's unlikely that McLaughlin will make a push for the starting job.

Healthy heading into 2019
Hauschka, who played through a hip injury for part of the 2018 season, has been healthy while participating in the team's offseason conditioning program and spring practices, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports.
Analysis: The only competition for Hausch Money in camp will be undrafted free agent Chase McLaughlin, so the job will belong to the veteran barring something crazy happening. Hauschka only posted 91 points last season, the lowest of his career for any full campaign. The Buffalo offense should be improved after all kinds of money was spent this offseason, though we'll remind you this is still a defensive-oriented team that plays many of its games in windy or otherwise bad weather.

Stifled by rebuilding offense
Hauschka finished the season making only 22 of 28 field goals and 25 of 26 extra points.
Analysis: Hauschka finished No. 18 among all kickers in standard fantasy scoring, but that's not all that strong considering a number of teams had midseason kicker switches. The 78.6 percent field-goal success rate was the worst Hauschka's posted since the 2009 season, as he was stifled by a team that spent a good part of the season unable to move the ball, a shuffling of holders, and a hip injury. It'd be highly unlikely the Bills move on from him, as he was great for the team in 2017 and some of the…read more

Tallies six points in loss
Hauschka made two of his three field-goal attempts in Sunday's loss to New England.
Analysis: Hauschka has been dealing with a hip injury the past couple weeks but has played through the issue. He's missed a couple kicks between 40 and 49 yards the past three weeks after being perfect from that range for a majority of the season. He's hitting a career-low 81 percent on field goals this season (22-for-27), which could in part be due to his hip injury, especially since he surprisingly had a 43-yard attempt fall short Sunday. He'll look to finish the year strong against the Dolphins in…read more

Ready for New England
Hauschka (hip) practiced fully Friday and isn't listed on the injury report for Sunday's game at New England.
Analysis: The Bills never seemed worried about their kicker being ready to go, especially after he worked through the injury in last week's win over the Lions. That said, there are plenty of better options than a guy kicking for a heavy underdog in December weather against a team that typically dominates home games.

Back to full practice
Hauschka, who was limited Wednesday with a lingering hip injury, was back to a full practice Thursday.
Analysis: Coach Sean McDermott has said all along he trusts his kicker will be out there for Week 16, and Thursday's full practice pretty much seals that up. The bigger problem for fantasy owners is the matchup, a road game at New England, a team that's had the Bills' number -- as well as most other December visitors -- for years.

Limited in practice Wednesday
Hauschka (hip) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice.
Analysis: Hauschka played through the same injury during last week's win over the Lions and should avoid an absence Sunday against the Patriots if he advances to full participation in practice by Friday. The veteran kicker has converted 20 of 24 field-goal tries this season, with his 83.3 percent success rate representing his worst mark since 2011.

No field-goal opportunities
Hauschka didn't attempt a field goal, though he did convert both PATs in Sunday's 14-13 win over the Lions.
Analysis: Hauschka entered Sunday's game dealing with a hip issue, and while it didn't seem to bother him on his PAT attempts, the Bills did forgo a couple of makable field-goal attempts while choosing to go for it on fourth down. The veteran kicker is 20-for-24 on field goals this season, and he'll look to finish strong against the Patriots and Dolphins in Weeks 16 and 17.

Avoids inactive list
Hauschka (hip) is active Sunday against Detroit.
Analysis: Despite missing significant practice time this week due to a right hip injury, the Bills never signed a backup option for Hauschka, suggesting his Week 15 status was relatively safe. Nonetheless, there are likely higher-quality kicking options available for the fantasy postseason.

Listed as questionable this week
Hauschka (right hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions after logging a limited practice Friday.
Analysis: That said, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site noted earlier Friday that Hauschka should be fine for Sunday's game, a notion supported by the fact that he remains the only kicker on Buffalo's roster as of Friday.

Trending up for Week 15
Hauschka (back) will get "re-acclimated" at Friday's practice, according to Chris Brown of the Bills' official site, and should be fine for Sunday's game against the Lions.
Analysis: Hauschka isn't a great kicking option as he ranks just 21st in standard scoring, but at least the Buffalo offense has finally started moving the ball better and the weather isn't supposed to be so December lousy.

Misses another practice
Hauschka (back) did not kick in practice Thursday for the second straight day, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. "We're still waiting," coach Sean McDermott said following the session.
Analysis: Hauschka took a shot as both teams were chasing after a blocked field goal during Sunday's loss to the Jets, a hit the Bills have been complaining about all week. McDermott -- who hasn't brought in another placekicker yet -- still feels his veteran will be able to go Sunday against the Lions, though some form of kicking it around Friday would go a long way toward that belief.

Spectator for practice
Hauschka (back) won't participate in Wednesday's practice, Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News reports.
Analysis: Coach Sean McDermott is labeling Hauschka as day-to-day while the kicker recovers from a sore back, which stems from a hit he took on a blocked field goal during Sunday's loss to the Jets. While Hauschka is still hurting a bit, McDermott said he's confident the 33-year-old will be ready to play in advance of the Week 15 game against the Lions, per Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic. Hauschka suffered a back injury during Sunday's loss to the Jets and is considered day-to-day, Mike Rodak of ESPN.com reports.

Hauschka suffered an injury to his lower back and pelvis following a hit on a blocked field goal in Sunday's loss to the Jets, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports. "I was doing my best just to get my foot on the ball," Hauschka said. "It definitely stiffened up my body."
Analysis: Hauschka says he's pretty sore and will have a better idea on the severity of the injury when he wakes up Monday and sees how he feels, which is likely to be followed by some evaluation by the team.

Poor showing in loss
Hauschka made one of two field-goal attempts and missed his only extra-point try during Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Dolphins.
Analysis: Hauschka had not missed a kick since Week 1, so his inaccurate outing Week 13 was something of a surprise. The 33-year-old will look to bounce back against the Jets on Sunday, but his lack of reliable volume in Buffalo's offense makes him an untrustworthy fantasy option.

Another perfect outing
Hauschka converted his only field-goal attempt and all three extra-point tries during Sunday's 24-21 win over the Jaguars.
Analysis: Hauschka continues to build upon an impressive season, and he hasn't missed a kick since Week 1. Despite his accuracy, the 33-year-old's volume concerns make him an untrustworthy fantasy option. Hauschka has not yet attempted more than two field goals in a single game once this season.

Best 2018 scoring output
Hauschka hit both of his field-goal attempts and all five extra-point attempts in Sunday's 41-10 pummeling of the Jets.
Analysis: The fact that Hauschka had as many extra-point tries in one afternoon as he had from Week 3-10 combined shows you this is far from an offense that yields fantasy production. But for one day, owners that needed to throw a dart got rewarded, as the Bills took control of the game early and cashed in on seven scoring drives. Hausch Money and the Bills get a bye in Week 11 before the Jags visit in Week 12.

Converts only attempt
Hauschka converted his sole field-goal attempt during Sunday's 41-9 loss to the Bears.
Analysis: Hauschka did not attempt any extra points, as Buffalo's offense scored only one touchdown and the team elected to attempt a two-point conversion with the game well out of hand. The veteran kicker's only field-goal attempt came on a 41-yard try, which he converted without issue. Despite his reliable accuracy, Hauschka does not receive the volume necessary to provide weekly fantasy upside.
