Another decent week
Wright caught four of five targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 40-20 loss to the Falcons.
Analysis: Wright trailed only Christian McCaffrey and Ian Thomas in catches for the Panthers, and he's now posted back-to-back games with at least three grabs for the first time this season.

Makes three grabs
Wright caught three of five targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Redskins.
Analysis: Wright put together one of his better statistical performances of the season, hauling in more than two passes for just the second time while topping 30 yards for the first time since Week 4. Although his overall production was still pretty modest, Wright is at least trending upward ahead of Week 14's matchup versus the Falcons.

Makes one catch
Wright caught his only target for four yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Saints.
Analysis: Wright also drew a significant defensive pass interference call late on, but otherwise turned in his usual minimal production -- he hasn't caught more than two passes in a game since Week 4.

Another one-catch outing
Wright caught one of two targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 29-3 loss to the Falcons.
Analysis: Wright put together another one of his usual outings, as he's caught more than two passes just once this season. That trend continued Sunday despite the Panthers passing for 325 yards, evidencing the veteran's restricted upside.

Makes one grab
Wright caught one of two targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Packers.
Analysis: Wright has been a low-end model of consistency, as he's now finished with either one or two catches in seven of nine outings this season. While Sunday's performance was certainly an improvement on his goose egg in Week 9, Wright's 171 yards and zero touchdowns so far really restrict his fantasy value.

Negative showing Sunday
Wright failed to catch any of his four targets and also lost seven yards on a rushing attempt in Sunday's 30-20 win over the Titans.
Analysis: Wright's day got off to a rough start, as he was stopped for a considerable loss on a rare rushing attempt, before tipping a pass that was then intercepted on the very next play of Carolina's second offensive series. The veteran also had a diving, 19-yard reception overturned in the second quarter, furthering his frustrations. Although he usually only has a catch or two, Wright will still look for marked improvement in Week 10 versus the Packers.

Full participant Thursday
Wright (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Wright missed Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury suffered Week 8 versus the 49ers. The fact that he's now resumed participating without limitations puts Wright on track to take the field Sunday against Tennessee. He'll play his usual role as the No. 3 wideout in Carolina behind D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel.

Unable to practice
Wright didn't participate in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Wright was carted off the field at one point during the Week 8 loss to the 49ers, but the training staff ultimately cleared him to return to the contest. The fact he was able to play through the injury is a positive sign, but he'll need to get on the practice field either Thursday or Friday to have a chance at playing Sunday against the Titans. If he's able to shed the injury, Wright could be in store for an increased role on offense fellow wideout Curtis Samuel (shoulder) also missed…read more

Catches two passes
Wright caught two of four targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 51-13 loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: Wright was actually carted off with a leg injury during the second half, but ultimately was able to return to action, easing concern over his status. Besides that scare, Wright put up a relatively standard stat line for himself, as he's caught more than two passes only once this season. Despite his return Sunday, it could be worthwhile to see whether he's listed on the injury report this week. If he is, DeAndrew White and Brandon Zylstra could compete for additional snaps.

Returns to action
Wright (leg) returned to Sunday's game against the 49ers, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.
Analysis: Wright was carted off early in the second half, but all seems to be fine as he got back onto the field in the fourth quarter. The 29-year-old wideout will continue to work as the team's No. 3 receiver behind D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel.

Leaves on cart
Wright was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the 49ers with a leg injury, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Wright is likely a long shot to return this afternoon, so Brandon Zylstra will see increased responsibilities as the only receiver remaining behind D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel. If he's unable to return, Wright will finish with two catches on three targets for 12 yards.

Catches one pass
Wright caught one of three targets for six yards in Sunday's 37-26 win over the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Wright was once again sparingly used as a passing option for quarterback Kyle Allen. However, it didn't help that he dropped a perfectly thrown ball by Allen during the second half, negating what would've been a long first-down gain. As the Panthers now enter their bye, Wright ranks fifth on the team with 12 catches on his 21 targets, producing just 138 yards and zero touchdowns.

Just one catch
Wright caught one of three targets for six yards in Sunday's 34-27 win over the Jaguars.
Analysis: Wright played nearly 80 percent of Carolina's offensive snaps, but unsurprisingly saw few looks as D.J. Moore, Curtis Samuel and Christian McCaffrey combined for 23 of the team's 28 targets. Although Wright posted a season-high five catches in Week 4, his role as a complementary veteran in an offense lacking variety leaves him prone to performances like Sunday's relatively often.

Surprisingly involved in Week 4 win
Wright brought in five of six targets for 59 yards in the Panthers' 16-10 win over the Texans on Sunday.
Analysis: The trusted veteran was relied on heavily by second-year quarterback Kyle Allen, checking in tops among Panthers wide receivers in receptions and receiving yards. Wright's numbers were easily season-high figures, and he appears to have solid chemistry with Allen overall after posting seven receptions (eight targets) for 97 yards across the first two games with the young signal-caller under center. Wright will look to remain similarly involved against the Jaguars in Week 5.

Catches two passes
Wright caught both his targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Wright played almost half of Carolina's offensive snaps, most notably snagging a 33-yard pass on a third-quarter touchdown drive. After managing merely 29 yards through the first two weeks, the veteran got a little more going Sunday, even if his presence in the passing game remained fairly restricted behind Greg Olsen, Curtis Samuel, D.J. Moore and Christian McCaffrey.

Sees six targets
Wright caught two of six targets for 15 yards in Thursday's loss to the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Wright saw only one target in the season opener but was significantly more involved Thursday, though it didn't lead to much production. The 29-year-old played 54 of 79 offensive snaps and appears to be locked in as the team's No. 3 wide receiver, as Chris Hogan has played only eight offensive snaps through two contests.

Catches lone look
Wright caught his only target for 13 yards in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Rams.
Analysis: Wright hauled in the only pass thrown his direction during his 40 offensive snaps. His status as the third wideout in a passing offense that also heavily features tailback Christian McCaffrey and tight end Greg Olsen shouldn't result in too many looks on a weekly basis, but Wright should certainly still see more targets than he did Sunday on most occasions going forward.

No preseason targets
Wright has not been targeted yet this preseason despite featuring in two games.
Analysis: Wright sat out Carolina's opener, and although he featured briefly in the team's last two contests, he didn't draw any looks from his quarterbacks. Nonetheless, the veteran seems primed to hold down his No. 3 receiver spot behind D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel, even though the addition of Chris Hogan gives him more competition to go along with Torrey Smith again this season.

Facing tough competition for snaps
Wright is part of a deep position group that includes D.J. Moore, Curtis Samuel, Chris Hogan and Torrey Smith (knee), Max Henson of the Panthers' official website reports.
Analysis: Aldrick Robinson (hamstring) and Rashad Ross also are viable candidates to earn snaps at wide receiver, while Greg Olsen and Ian Thomas (leg) give the team a nice lineup in formations with two tight ends. Wright likely will open training camp as the slot receiver with the starting offense, but he'll need to fend off competition for his spot in three-wide formations. The Panthers always have the option to push Samuel or Moore inside, which then would free up outside work for Hogan, Smith, Ross…read more

Productive in depth role
Wright finished the 2018 regular season with 43 catches on 59 targets for 447 yards and a touchdown across 16 games.
Analysis: After inking a three-year contract with the Panthers over the offseason, Wright made a fairly seamless transition while working under offensive coordinator Norv Turner, who was already familiar with the wideout from their time together in Minnesota. While he wasn't a major priority in the passing game, Wright still managed a new career high in receptions while posting his second-best marks in both targets and yardage. The veteran provided a reliable depth presence and should remain in a similar…read more

Totals 69 receiving yards
Wright caught seven of eight targets for 69 yards during Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Falcons.
Analysis: Wright displayed a strong rapport with both of Carolina's backup quarterbacks, recording season highs in both receptions and receiving yards. He didn't make many big gains outside of a 24-yard catch and run, but it was a solid showing nonetheless. Wright will look to remain involved in the offense during next Sunday's season finale against the Saints.

Makes three catches
Wright caught three of four targets for 21 yards in Monday night's 12-9 loss to the Saints.
Analysis: Wright trailed only Christian McCaffrey in receptions and targets, but again went for very mild totals. That shouldn't come as a surprise to fantasy owners, though, as Wright's output Monday is about what he's established as his usual performance lately.

Gets four touches
Wright caught three of his five targets for 36 yards and rushed once for five yards in Sunday's 26-20 loss to the Browns.
Analysis: Wright finished third among Carolina's receivers in snaps, featuring for over half of the team's offensive plays. His target count marked his most since Week 5 and allowed Wright to post between 20 and 45 yards for the fifth straight game, illustrating his consistency in a depth role.

Nabs two passes in loss
Wright brought in both of his targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Seahawks.
Analysis: Wright ranked third among the Panthers' wideouts in offensive snaps, seeing the field for 27 plays. It's worth noting, however, that No. 1 receiver Devin Funchess (back) was inactive, while Torrey Smith was limited to 13 snaps while returning from a four-game absence due to a knee injury. Funchess' potential return in Week 13 against the Buccaneers along with the likelihood that Smith will see his role expand as he becomes further removed from the injury could result in Wright dropping as low…read more

Hauls in all three targets
Wright caught all three of his targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Lions.
Analysis: Wright's performance marked his best this season outside of Week 2's five catches for 62 yards and a score. It came while the veteran played over 70 percent of Carolina's offensive snaps, which was an increase from recent outings. His day could've been even better had Cam Newton hit him for a wide-open two-point conversion that would've won the game, but Wright at least put in an above-average effort.

Makes three grabs
Wright caught all three of his targets for 22 yards in Week 10's loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: Wright's totals marked an improved performance compared to recent games but still didn't move the needle much from a fantasy perspective. That's the norm with Wright, though, as he's a veteran possession receiver who adds depth to Carolina's aerial plans.

Catches lone target
Wright caught his lone target for eight yards in Week 9's win over the Buccaneers.
Analysis: The veteran actually played the third-most snaps among Carolina's wideouts, but youngsters D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel clearly rank as higher priorities for looks and touches. Wright has caught at least one pass in all eight games but boasts just 18 grabs on the campaign.
