Scores TD in season-ending loss
Elliott carried 14 times for 42 yards and a touchdown while adding three receptions (on four yards) for 19 yards during Sunday's 23-19 loss to the Giants.
Analysis: Elliott, who was in and out of the game with apparent minor leg issues, averaged just 3.0 yards per carry against a solid defensive front. He generated fantasy utility with his first rushing touchdown since Week 5 and a handful of receptions, but this production was still less than what we've come to expect from him in previous seasons. Dramatically affected by injuries all over the Dallas offense, Elliott finishes the season with career lows in total touchdowns (eight) as well as rushing…read more

Avoids injury report
Elliott (calf) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports
Analysis: Earlier Wednesday, there was an expectation that Elliott would be limited, as he has been for the previous three weeks while managing a bruised calf. According to Jon Machota of The Athletic, Elliott kicked off practice Wednesday by doing some resistance training on the side, seemingly backing up that assumption that he would be limited. However, Elliott managed to do enough to avoid the first practice report of Week 17 entirely. With his health seemingly not a concern, Elliott appears set to…read more

Will be limited Wednesday
Elliott (calf) is expected to be a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The report notes that Elliott, who has managed a calf issue for the past few weeks, is expected to play Sunday against the Giants. In the Cowboys' 37-17 win over the Eagles in Week 16, Elliott delivered one of his better performances of the season, carrying 19 times for 105 yards while catching all four of his targets for 34 yards.

Tops 100 rushing yards in return
Elliott carried the ball 19 times for 105 yards and caught all four of his targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 37-17 win over the Eagles.
Analysis: His afternoon could have been even more productive, but the fifth-year back was ruled down just short of the goal line on a three-yard run in the second quarter on a play that might have been overturned had coach Mike McCarthy thrown the challenge flag. Elliott still wound up topping 100 rushing yards for only the second time in 2020, and he looked re-energized after sitting out last week's game due to a calf issue. Elliott will look to keep rolling in Week 17, with a possible NFC East title on…read more

Returns to lineup
Elliott (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Analysis: After taking off one game to rest a bruised calf, Elliott is back in the lineup, as expected. His workload remains to be seen, though, after Tony Pollard ripped off 132 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns Week 15 versus the 49ers. There's a chance Elliott yields some reps to Pollard, meaning the former could fall short of his 19.7 touches per game this season.

Expected to play Sunday
Elliott (calf), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Elliott is on track to return to the lineup after missing last week's win over the 49ers. Tony Pollard shined in his absence, generating 132 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns. It's possible that Pollard handles a few more reps after proving himself last week, but Elliott should still be the lead back if he's, indeed, in the lineup.

Officially listed as questionable
Elliot (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Elliott was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, before the Cowboys took Friday off. He said Wednesday that he was "looking good" to return for Sunday's game, but we won't necessarily have confirmation before the Cowboys release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Tony Pollard filled in for Elliott last week, playing 90 percent of offensive snaps en route to 132 total yards and two touchdowns.

Logs another limited practice
Elliott (calf) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: During the open part of Thursday's session, Elliott was spotted doing resistance work with the Cowboys' training staff, which has been the norm for the running back of late. He proceeded to back up coach Mike McCarthy's assertion from earlier Thursday that Elliot was slated to be in "limited-practice mode," per Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News. Elliott has mentioned this week that his bruised calf is "way better than last week," but because of the cap placed on his practice reps so…read more

Limited session on tap Thursday
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said Elliott (calf) will be in "limited-practice mode" Thursday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: Assuming the Cowboys' official practice report matches McCarthy's comments, Elliott will be listed as a limited participant for the second day in a row. After sitting out the Cowboys' Week 15 win over the 49ers, Elliott said that his bruised calf is feeling much better this week, leaving him optimistic that he'll be ready to go for Sunday's game against the Eagles. If active for the contest, Elliott should step back into his usual starting role, though the gap in the distribution of the snaps…read more

Officially limited Wednesday
Elliott (calf) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: According to Gehlken, Elliott said that his injured calf feels "way better than last week," leading the running back to believe that he's "looking good" for Sunday's matchup with the Eagles. In the event that Elliott were forced to miss more time, however, Tony Pollard would stand to draw another start.

Plans to return Sunday
Elliott (calf) said he likes his chances to play in Sunday's game against the Eagles, noting that he felt "way better than last week" during Wednesday's practice, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: Listed as questionable last week, Elliott ultimately landed on the inactive list in a game-time decision. His optimism after Wednesday's limited practice is a good sign, but fantasy managers will still want to keep tabs on the situation over the next few days. Tony Pollard played 90 percent of offensive snaps in last week's 41-33 win over the Niners, producing 132 yards and two touchdowns from 12 carries and nine targets. Limited practice on tap
Elliott (calf) will be limited at practice Wednesday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Head coach Mike McCarthy indicated Monday that Elliott has a chance to suit up Sunday against the Eagles, and the running back's looming practice participation Wednesday would appear to boost that possibility. If Elliott isn't cleared for the contest, however, Tony Pollard would be in line to head Dallas' backfield.

May return Week 16
Coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that Elliott (calf) "has a chance" to suit up Sunday against the Eagles, Jane Slater of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Elliott focused entirely on resistance work and didn't practice last week, eventually being included among the Cowboys' inactives Week 15 against the 49ers. While the move was somewhat surprising after both national and local media reported he was in line to play, it allowed Tony Pollard to handle 52 of 58 offensive snaps en route to 18 touches for 132 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs. Surprise inactive Sunday
Elliott (calf) is inactive for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: The Cowboys managed Elliott's reps the last two weeks due to a bruised calf, but during the most recent one coach Mike McCarthy suggested the running back was "a little further away" than one week prior. The assessment comes as no surprise after Elliott was unable to practice at all this week, instead focusing on resistance work with the training staff. Remains in line to play
Elliott (calf) remains questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers, but the running back remains on track to suit up in the Week 15 contest, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Though Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy acknowledged that Elliott has been further behind in his prep for game day while managing the injury compared to last week, the 25-year-old apparently intends to play at less than 100 percent health. Given that Elliott didn't practice at any point this week, he could be in store for a smaller workload than normal, though McCarthy hasn't specifically said that will be in the cards. Still on track to play
Elliott (calf) is still on track to play Sunday despite the call-up of running back Sewo Olonilua, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: It's worth noting the last time Olonilua was elevated to the active roster in Week 9, Elliott was essentially a game-time decision, but the star back did manage to play and still saw his usual workload. Coach Mike McCarthy has continually reinforced the notion Elliott will be available in Week 15, but fantasy managers should still be actively checking his status ahead of the Sunday 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

On track to play, despite absences
Elliott (calf) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the 49ers, despite being listed as questionable after missing practice throughout the week, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Coach Mike McCarthy admitted earlier Friday that Elliott is a little behind where he was at the same point last week. Even so, McCarthy told Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News that "all things look like [Elliott]'s going to play" in Sunday's game against the 49ers. If anything goes wrong before the 1 p.m. ET kickoff, Tony Pollard would be in line for a huge workload in a game where the losing team won't have a realistic path to the playoffs.

On track to play Sunday
Coach Mike McCarthy said "all things look like" Elliott (calf) is going to play Sunday against the 49ers, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: McCarthy also said the 25-year-old is "a little further away" than he was at this point last week, but the calf injury apparently isn't a significant concern. In last week's win over the Bengals, Elliott accrued 14 touches for 59 yards while playing a typical 63 percent of the offensive snaps. He should be in store for a relatively normal workload again Week 15.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said Elliott (calf) won't practice with the team Thursday and will instead perform a workout on the side under the supervision of Dallas' training staff, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: Per Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News, McCarthy relayed that the running back is "still having after effects" with his bruised calf following his appearance in the Cowboys' win over the Bengals last weekend. Analysis: Prior to the session, coach Mike McCarthy told Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News that Elliott would be limited, with the Cowboys watching him to "see how he responds" from the bruised calf that he played through in Sunday's win over the Bengals. Limited to begin Week 15
Elliott (calf) will be limited at practice Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: Elliott is dealing with a calf contusion, but the report notes that coach Mike McCarthy doesn't think the running back aggravated the injury in Sunday's win over Bengals. Listed as questionable ahead of that contest, Elliott suited up and proceeded to play 32 snaps while finishing with 12 carries for 48 yards and two catches for 11 yards.

Limited to 14 touches
Elliot carried the ball 12 times for 48 yards in Week 14 against the Bengals. He added two receptions for 11 yards.
Analysis: Elliot split carries evenly with Tony Pollard, who drew 11 rushes and also added two receptions. In addition to the limited volume, Elliot was largely held under wraps and logged just two rushes of five or more yards. Elliot was a limited participant in practice throughout the week due to a calf injury, which may have encouraged the Cowboys to limit his workload in a game they controlled. Suiting up in Cincinati
Elliott (calf) is active Week 14 against the Bengals.
Analysis: A calf injury caused Elliott to only be a limited participant in practice each day this week, but the expectation all along was that he'll suit up for the matchup against the Bengals. That notion was officially confirmed upon the release of inactives, leaving Elliott set to take the field under favorable fantasy circumstances. The Bengals are giving up 5.0 YPC to opposing running backs this season, which is the third-highest mark in the NFL.

Remains on track for Sunday
Elliott (calf) is expected to play Sunday at Cincinnati, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: The 25-year-old received the questionable tag Friday due to the calf injury, but he never appeared in danger of sitting out Sunday's contest. Elliott has at least 20 touches in four of the past five games and should continue to lead Dallas' backfield against the Bengals this weekend, with Tony Pollard working in a secondary role.

Should be fine Sunday
Elliott (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Cincinnati, but he's expected to play, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Even with Tony Pollard getting a bit more work in recent weeks, Elliott reached 20 touches in four of the past five games. He's scored just one touchdown and averaged 3.8 YPC since Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending knee injury, but Elliott has a good matchup this week, and his workload remains among the safest in the league.

Limited at walk-through
Elliott (calf) was limited at Thursday's walk-through, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: Speaking to Jon Machota of The Athletic on Thursday, Elliott relayed that he's dealing a calf contusion. "I'm sure it's gonna be sore during the game," Elliott added. "I don't think it will limit me much at all." He's averaging a shade more than 20 touches per game this season, but with back-to-back limited practices so far this week the training staff clearly is curtailing how much he can do before Sunday's game at Cincinnati. Friday's injury report may clear up Elliott's status for Week 14.

Listed with calf issue
Elliott was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report with a calf injury, Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Analysis: Elliott previously played through a hamstring injury this season, so another lower-body issue doesn't seem like a huge concern, especially considering he would have got in some work if the Cowboys held a formal practice Wednesday. He'll look to prove the health of his calf during the team's two remaining sessions this week before Dallas matches up with Cincinnati on Sunday.

Garners 95 total yards in loss
Elliott rushed 18 times for 77 yards and secured four of six targets for 18 yards in the Cowboys' 34-17 loss to the Ravens on Tuesday night.
Analysis: Elliott got off to a strong start in the first half but saw his opportunities on the ground diminish as Dallas fell further behind. His reception tally was his highest since Week 6, when he garnered eight grabs versus the Cardinals. Elliott has topped 75 rushing yards twice in the last three games, so fantasy managers heading into their playoffs will hope he's able to keep the momentum going in a highly favorable Week 14 road matchup against the Bengals.

Fumbles again in blowout loss
Elliott carries the ball 10 times for 32 yards and caught one of three targets for seven yards in Thursday's 41-16 loss to Washington, while also losing a fumble.
Analysis: It's the sixth fumble in 11 games for Elliott, and the Cowboys have lost possession of five of them, including his giveaway on the second play of the second half Thursday that helped kill any chance Dallas had of keeping the game close. The fifth-year RB is still (barely) on pace for another 1,000-yard campaign, but Elliott just isn't finding the same running room this season behind a Cowboys offensive line gutted by injuries. Delivers best performance of season
Elliott carried the ball 21 times for 103 yards and caught both his targets for 11 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Vikings.
Analysis: While he lost the statistical battle with Dalvin Cook, Elliott and the Cowboys won the war, and the Dallas back produced his first 100-yard rushing performance of the season. With Andy Dalton back at the helm, the team's offense as a whole looked a little more like the unit that was so potent early in the year under Dak Prescott, and Elliott will take some much-needed momentum into a Thanksgiving clash with Washington.

Still dealing with tight hamstring
Elliott said his tight hamstring feels better after a bye week, but he acknowledged Wednesday that he's still managing some soreness, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports. "It's a little stiff," Elliott said of the hamstring. "It's something that I'm working on every day."
Analysis: Elliott was listed as questionable ahead of the Cowboys' Week 9 loss to Pittsburgh, ultimately suiting up and taking 20 touches for 69 yards while playing 65 percent of the offensive snaps. That's obviously a sizable workload, but it was also the first time all season where Elliott played less than three-quarters of the snaps in a game that wasn't a blowout. Elliott carried the ball 18 times for 51 yards and caught two of three targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Steelers.
Analysis: The running back was a game-time decision due to a minor hamstring strain, but Elliott was deemed good to go after pregame warmups and wound up seeing 20 or more touches for the eighth time in nine games this season. Elliott (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers, could be trending in the wrong direction after the Cowboys elevated fullback Sewo Olonilua from the practice squad, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: It's never a great sign when a team opts to call up additional depth at a position affected by injuries, but it's difficult to really read too much into this situation since Olonilua is traditionally considered a fullback and thus would only see snaps at running back if a series of unfortunate situations would decimate the team's depth behind Elliott. Analysis: The Cowboys are managing Elliott's reps for the second day in a row, but based on the comments from his coach, the hamstring issue doesn't seem to be anything serious. Third-string rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci (52 completion percentage for 180 yards) did little to convince the opposition that they needed to do anything but focus on stopping Dallas' rushing attack. Elliott is averaging just 53.3 rushing yards and has scored zero touchdowns in the three games since Dak Prescott (leg) went down to injury, exposing the obvious correlation…read more

Struggles in loss to Washington
Elliott carried 12 times for 45 yards and caught one of two targets for an additional six yards during Sunday's 25-3 loss to Washington.
Analysis: Elliott struggled to the tune of 3.8 yards per carry against a ferocious defensive front, and although he technically avoided turning the ball over, he mishandled an inaccurate pass from Andy Dalton (head) that resulted in an interception in the red zone. To make matters worse, Dalton left the game after taking a cheap shot to the head on a slide and rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci struggled mightily as his replacement. Elliott's fantasy value has taken a large downturn over the last couple of…read more

Night marred by fumbles
Elliott rushed 12 times for 49 yards and brought in eight of 11 targets for 31 yards in the Cowboys' 38-10 loss to the Cardinals on Monday night. He also lost two fumbles.
Analysis: Not only did Elliott produce a season-low rushing yardage total, but the two lost fumbles put a serious crimp in any chances of the Cowboys offense finding some continuity in its first game with Andy Dalton as the starter. Elliott first coughed up the ball after a short reception late in the first quarter, leading to Arizona's first touchdown of the night, and his second fumble on the very next drive set up Kyler Murray and company at the Dallas 27-yard line, enviable field position that they…read more

Scores twice in win
Elliott carried the ball 19 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns and caught one of two targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 37-34 win over the Giants.
Analysis: After plowing into the end zone from a yard out in the second quarter, Elliott scored his second TD in the third on an emotional 12-yard run, capping the drive on which Dak Prescott suffered a likely season-ending ankle injury. With Andy Dalton now forced to take the reins of the Dallas offense, Elliott could be leaned on even more heavily to help steady things while the team adjusts to its new QB, beginning in Week 6 against Arizona.

Piles up 125 scrimmage yards
Elliott carried 12 times for 54 yards and caught all eight of his targets for 71 additional yards during Sunday's 49-38 loss to the Browns. He also lost a fumble and caught a two-point conversion.
Analysis: Elliott managed a respectable 4.5 yards per carry, but he saw his attempts limited as his team yet again played from behind for most of the game. He was quite active as a pass catcher, however, and made his largest contribution in that regard since Week 15 of the 2018 season. Elliott lost a fumble in the first half that directly led to a Cleveland score and has now put the ball on the ground three times through four games, losing two of those fumbles. He also failed to score a TD for the first…read more

Struggles in Seattle
Elliott carried the ball 14 times for 34 yards and a touchdown and caught six of 12 targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Seahawks.
Analysis: While a first-quarter TD salvaged his day from a fantasy perspective, it was overall a poor performance from the Cowboys' lead back. He slipped in the end zone and gave up a safety just before his own score, and he dropped numerous catchable passes from Dak Prescott. Elliott will look to bounce back in Week 4 against a Browns defense that just gave up 5.4 yards a carry and a rushing touchdown to rookie Antonio Gibson.

Eclipses 100 yards, scores TD
Elliott ran for 89 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries while securing six of seven targets for 33 yards during Sunday's 40-39 win against the Falcons. He also committed two first-quarter fumbles, losing one to Atlanta.
Analysis: Elliott has been an elite rusher since the day he entered the NFL, as exhibited by the 1,631 rushing yards and 16 total touchdowns he collected during his All-Pro rookie season of 2016. The back's receiving skills had been a work in progress when he entered the league, but Elliott has now averaged 4.2 catches per game dating back to the start of 2018 (compared to 2.3 receptions per game between 2016 and 2017). Finds end zone twice in loss
Elliott rushed 22 times for 96 yards and a touchdown, adding three receptions (four targets) for 31 yards and another score in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Rams.
Analysis: This was about as stereotypical of an Ezekiel Elliott performance as it gets; he gained consistent chunks of yardage (4.4 YPC) and finished right around the century mark, found the end zone twice and caught three passes after averaging 3.4 receptions per game in 2019. The 25-year-old didn't show any signs of rust against the Rams' front seven following a shortened training camp and no preseason. Backup Tony Pollard was able to poach only four touches away, making it obvious that Zeke is still…read more

Working on receiving skills
Elliott focused on pass catching this offseason, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: Elliott says he didn't spend much time on backfield work, instead focusing on his technique lining up out wide or in the slot. Perhaps he's feeling some pressure from backfield mate Tony Pollard, who had 1,292 receiving yards in three seasons at Memphis and could eventually be an option to replace Elliott on passing downs. It sounds like Zeke is doing everything in his power to retain a three-down role, following three consecutive seasons with snap share in the 84-89 percent range. It is…read more

Feeling much improved
Elliott (illness) said he's feeling better after testing positive for COVID-19, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. "I would say I had maybe one or two days when I felt symptoms," Elliott relayed in a Zoom call Wednesday. "Even then, it wasn't too bad. I had a cough and a little bit of shortness of breath. Now, I feel good. I feel normal."
Analysis: Elliott's comments represent his first public statement since word leaked June 15 of his positive test. Until Wednesday, though, it was unclear whether or not he was symptomatic, which he confirmed was the case. Elliott has another week to go of self-isolation and "still can't work out," per John Breech of CBS Sports. However, with training camp likely a month away, Elliott has plenty of time to get his bearings once he's healthy enough to do so.

Tests positive for COVID-19
Elliott is reportedly among the multiple Cowboys and Texans players who have recently tested positive for COVID-19, Grant Gordon of NFL.com reports.
Analysis: Per the report, Elliott's agent relayed to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport that the running back is "feeling good." Gordon adds that none of the players who reportedly tested positive are thought "to have been in their team facilities and the Cowboys and Texans teams followed proper health protocols." In a statement that Rapoport obtained, the Cowboys noted "due to federal and local privacy laws, we are unable to provide information regarding the personal health of any of our employees."

Could benefit from spread formation
Elliott could be one of the bigger beneficiaries of CeeDee Lamb's addition to the offense, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis: With Randall Cobb on the roster last season, the Cowboys ran plays out of '11' personnel (one running back, one tight end, three wide receivers) roughly two-thirds of the time, forcing defenses to put an extra defensive back on the field instead of a linebacker. Elliott averaged 5.1 yards per carry out of that formation, the fifth-highest mark in the league, and his 823 total rushing yards from 11 personnel also led the NFL. With first-round pick Lamb now stepping in for Cobb, and the more…read more

Finds end zone twice in Week 17
Elliott carried the ball 18 times for 122 yards and a touchdown and caught three of five targets for two yards and a second score in Sunday's 47-16 win over Washington.
Analysis: With the Cowboys' playoff hopes on the line, Elliott came through with another big performance, but it went for naught when the Eagles took care of business against the Giants. The fourth-year running back wraps up 2019 with 1,357 rushing yards and 12 TDs on the ground, as well as 54 catches on 71 targets for another 420 yards and two touchdowns. Dallas is likely to have a new head coach, and potentially a new offensive scheme, next season, but given the investments Jerry Jones has made both in…read more

Modest numbers in Philly
Elliott carried the ball 13 times for 47 yards and caught all seven of his targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 17-9 loss to the Eagles.
Analysis: With Dak Prescott unable to generate much offense through the air, the Philadelphia defense was able to concentrate on stuffing Elliott, and he was held below 50 rushing yards for the first time since Week 11. The fourth-year back will look to finish the season on a high note in next week's must-win game against a Washington defense that just got steamrolled by Saquon Barkley.

Huge game against Rams
Elliott carried the ball 24 times for 117 yards and two touchdowns and caught three of four targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 44-21 win over the Rams.
Analysis: That's now back-to-back two-TD performances for Elliott, while the 160 scrimmage yards were a season high as he came through in a big way for those with fantasy shares in him. The fourth-year RB will look to keep rolling next Sunday in Philadelphia with a chance to lock up the NFC East title against an Eagles defense he gashed for 111 rushing yards and a score in Week 7.

Scores two TDs in loss
Elliott rushed 19 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns and secured two of five targets for 12 yards in the Cowboys' 31-24 loss to the Bears on Thursday.
Analysis: Elliott's play was a bright spot in the Cowboys' third straight defeat, although game script eventually served to cap his volume overall. The Pro Bowler has now logged a sub-20-carry workload in three of his past four games, and he hasn't eclipsed the 100-yard mark since Week 9 versus the Giants. Elliott does continue seeing multiple targets in the passing game on a regular basis, and he'll look to be get back to more robust volume in the ground attack in another tough matchup against the Rams…read more

Piles up yardage in loss
Elliott carried the ball 12 times for 71 yards and caught seven of 10 targets for 66 yards in Thursday's 26-15 loss to the Bills.
Analysis: The running back has topped 100 scrimmage yards in two straight games and seven times this season, but his inability to find the end zone proved costly for the Cowboys. Elliott will look to keep rolling next week on the road against a Bears defense that just gave up 83 rushing yards to his former backup, Bo Scarbrough.

Tops 100 scrimmage yards in loss
Elliott carried the ball 21 times for 86 yards and caught all four of his targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 13-9 loss to the Patriots.
Analysis: Rain put a damper on both team's offenses, but Elliott was still able to deliver triple-digit scrimmage yards for the sixth time in 11 games. The fourth-year RB is now 81 yards shy of the 1,000-yard mark for the third time in his career, a milestone he'll try to reach at home on Thanskgiving against the Bills.

Scores two TDs vs. Lions
Elliott carried 16 times for 45 yards, a touchdown, and one fumble Sunday against the Lions. He also caught two of three targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in the 35-27 win.
Analysis: Faced with an excellent matchup against one of the worst run defenses in the league, Elliott fumbled on his first touch and could only manage 2.8 yards per carry. He did, however, record a one-yard TD run in the second quarter and added the decisive score on a 17-yard reception midway through the fourth. Although Elliott failed to take full advantage of an excellent opportunity for a breakout game, his two scores were a boon for fantasy owners, and the passing offense continued to flourish.…read more

Stuffed in loss
Elliott rushed 20 times for 47 yards and had two catches for 16 yards in Sunday's 28-24 loss to Minnesota.
Analysis: The Vikings had a clear gameplan to not let Elliott beat them, and they executed it to perfection. It was a bit surprising that coach Jason Garrett did not find more creative ways to get his star back the ball in open space (just three targets). This was easily Elliott's worst fantasy performance this season, as he was at least able to hit pay dirt the three other occasions in which he did not rush for at least 100 yards. Zeke will have an excellent opportunity to bounce back in the Cowboys'…read more

Tops century mark in win
Elliott rushed 23 times for 139 yards, but was not targeted in Monday night's 37-18 win over the Giants.
Analysis: Elliott once again was a force on the ground, hitting the 100-yard mark for a third consecutive game. In fact, his output Monday set a new season high. Despite that production, Elliott didn't find the end zone for just the second time this season, and he wasn't targeted in the passing game for only the second time in his four-year career. Those factors prevented him from posting an even better performance, but Elliott still takes considerable momentum into Week 10's visit from the Vikings.
